What exercises can we do under gym cardio workouts for beginner and how long to do it??
What is a cardio workout?
Cardio is the short form of cardiovascular where Cardio means “heart” and vascular means “vessels that circulate fluids“. Keeping this in mind, cardio exercise typically refers to activities that cause a sustained increase in your heart rate and breathing and consequently, an increase in the circulation of blood and oxygen throughout the body to the muscles you’re working. The more difficult the activity and the harder you go, the more demand is placed on your cardiovascular system.
Well, this was the definition of cardio workout. Now, lets see what are the gym cardio workouts for beginner?
The exercises mentioned here are Gym cardio workouts for beginner i.e, it required cardio machines that are installed in your Gym.

Gym cardio workouts for beginner
The first gym cardio workouts for beginner is Treadmill walking. Walk on the treadmill machine to burn your fat.
Step onto the machine. Turn it on. Now adjust the speed to 5-6 and start walking. Walk for minimum 15 mins.
The second gym cardio workouts for beginner is Treadmill Sprint. After walking you can increase the pace of the motor and switch to running.
Step onto the machine. Turn it on. Now adjust the speed to 10-12 and give a quick sprint. Give your body minimum 2-3 min Sprint if you are a beginner and 4-5 min if you are doing it from a while.
The next gym cardio workouts for beginner is Crosswalker. Crosswalker is another machine to give your cardio a real lift.
Step onto the machine. Turn it on. Now Start pedaling at an even pace. Do not lock your knees. Turn up the resistance. Hold the swing arms. Increase the incline and resistance as you go.
The next gym cardio workouts for beginner is Stationary bike.
Step onto the stationary bike. Set the resistance to low. Now start pedaling for 1-2 minutes. Increase the resistance and put efforts as you can. Now again pedal at low resistance for 1-2 minutes.
Exercise on Stationary bike per day helps you to lose about 1 pound per week.

Hold the bar in front of you or on the side rails with your hands. Stand upright. Take even, moderately deep steps. Keep your entire foot on the Stair/pedal.
The calories you’ll burn while using the stair stepper depend mostly on your weight.
The next gym cardio workouts for beginner is Elliptical machine.
Elliptical machine is basically all in one machine. You can do Crosswalking, biking and stair stepping on the same machine with low medium and high inclination respectively.
Step on the board. Place yours feet on the pedals. Straighten up your back. Place your hands on the bars in front of you. And start moving. As you go on you can set up your inclination.
- At a low incline the action is more like a cross-walker.
- At medium settings it’s similar to a bike.
- And At a high incline it approximates a stair-climber.

Stand straight with your feet together and your hands extended towards the side of your thigh. This will be your starting position.
Now jump, and take your feet wide apart, simultaneously raise your arms above your head in a single motion. Now after a short pause take yourself back to the starting position by jumping again.

Lie prone on the floor supporting your body on you hand and toes. Keep your arms extended and hands should be shoulder width wide. Keep your torso straight. This will be your starting position. Now keeping your body straight lower your chest towards floor. After short pause push your body up to the starting position.

Stand with your feet wide apart at shoulder width,and your arms at your sides.
Now bend your knees, and lower your body into a squat. Place your hands on the floor. Shift your weight onto them. jump your feet back and take push up position.
Now keeping your body straight lower your chest towards floor. After short pause push your body up back to the push-up position. Now Jump your feet back close to your hands again. After that Do jump as high up as you can. This completes one rep.
Repeat the same procedure for the recommended number of repetition.
