Legs Workout. The most painful, buts the most fruitful Workout. Guys, we are back with the exercise that most of the people tries to skip. Even i did it many times. But, guys if you are had joined a gym and you are skipping legs day than it will not work for you. Yes, we all know that legs workout is some what pain-full but it gives you a lot more in return than that pain. There are many benefits of legs workout one of it is regulation of your body’s blood circulation, it enhance your body blood circulation. There are many other benefits.
Today we are gonna tell you about various legs workout that you can perform during your gym session.
So here are the legs workout..
1. Simple Squats:
Stand up with your feet shoulder wide apart. you can place your hands behind your head.This will b your starting position.
Start sitting down to the full depth you are able to, quickly reverse the motion until you are back to the starting position.
Keep your back straight.
2. Barbell Squats:
To begin, first set the bar at the position right above the shoulder. Hold on to the bar with your both arms at each side and lift off the bar from the rack. Step away from the rack Stand up with your feet wide appart. This will b your starting position.
Start sitting down slowly to the full depth by bending the knees untill your hamstring are on your calves and inhale. Reverse the motion as you exhale by pushing back the bar until you are back to the starting position. Keep your back straight throughout.
This exercise is best performed inside the squat rack for the safety purpose.
3. Leg Extensions:
Sit on the leg extension machine with your legs under the pads.
Now adjust the plate weight.
Raise your feet by extending your legs and slowly lower them back to the starting position.
keep your back straight throughout.
4. Lying Leg Curls:
Lie prone on the bench and place your legs against the foot pads.
Adjust the weight.
Rise your feet by pulling them back and up until your calves are perpendicular to the ground.
Lower them back slowly after a small pause.
Breathe out while pulling and breathe in while releasing back.
5. Leg Press:
Sit down on Leg press machine and place your legs on the platform in front of you.
Now adjust the weight.
Press the platform all the way until your legs are fully extended.
Now as you inhale, slowly lower the platform.
Pushing mainly with the heels of your feet and using the quadriceps go back to the starting position as you exhale.
6. Dumbbell/ Barbell Walking:
Stand with your torso upright holding dumbbells in each hand or grab a barbell onto your shoulder. This will be your starting position.
Take a wide step forward so that your knee shows a 90° angle and slowly bring yourself back up after a short pause.
Alternate feet between repetition.
